Temperament & care
Poodle mixes — often called "Doodles" — combine the Poodle's low-shedding intelligence with the temperament of their other parent breed. They are highly adaptable, often suit allergy-prone households, and respond extremely well to reward-based training. Personality can vary significantly depending on the cross, but most Poodle mixes are sociable, curious, and affectionate.
Grooming needs
Poodle-mix coats grow continuously and do not shed much, but they mat easily and require professional grooming every six to eight weeks. Daily or every-other-day brushing between appointments prevents painful knots from forming.
