About the breed
Temperament & care
French Bulldogs are charming, affectionate companions that adapt well to apartment living thanks to their low exercise requirements and quiet nature. Their bat-like ears and expressive faces give them an endearing personality that suits first-time owners. Frenchies can be stubborn during training, so short, fun sessions with high-value rewards work best.
Grooming needs
The Frenchie's short coat needs only a weekly wipe-down, but their facial skin folds must be cleaned and dried daily to prevent infections. Ears should be checked weekly for wax build-up and moisture.
